This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Card and tap-to-pay are widely accepted; cash-only is more common at small family-run counters.

We had an amazing dining experience at Taste of Bengal! The food was absolutely delicious and full of authentic flavors that truly reminded us of Bangladesh. We ordered the Dhakai Beef Tehari, Pompano Fish, Tandoori Chicken, Karahi Chicken, Malai Shrimp, and Mango Lassi, and every single dish was outstanding. The beef tehari was rich and flavorful, the pompano fish was perfectly cooked, the tandoori chicken was juicy, the karahi chicken was packed with authentic spices, the malai shrimp was creamy and delicious, and the mango lassi was refreshing and the perfect complement to the meal. The atmosphere was welcoming, the service was excellent, and the entire experience made us feel like we were enjoying a home-cooked meal back in Bangladesh. We had a wonderful time with our family and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic Bangladeshi cuisine! πŸ‡§πŸ‡©πŸ›

The food was delicious! The owner spoke with us for quite some time and is such a nice guy! We ordered gyro, soup, and samosas and they were great! We will certainly be returning. Honestly, this place should be more crowded! It’s a hidden gem right across the street from Imperial Market on the east side of Buffalo. The decor is cute as well. Definitely support this small business and the prices are certainly reasonable!

We found this place while traveling through Buffalo around 10 pm, and it was the only restaurant open until midnight. We ordered beef tehari, a chicken roast pulao combo for the kids, and beef karhai. The beef tehari was tasty and full of flavor, but the other dishes were very oily. The chicken roast did not taste like a traditional Bangladeshi roast, and the beef karhai lacked good flavor. The beef was also tough and hard to chew. The atmosphere was nice, and the washroom was clean, which we really appreciate in a desi restaurant. However, the overall food quality and taste need a lot of improvement.
